Something good for their mouths

I'm browsing through this website, ParentHacks, (Thanks Jamie!) and found this tip that sounds great and has the bonus of being one I know my Mom will approve of! If you have a kid who likes to rip and chew on paper (my kids will eat ANYTHING that isn't food, or is food but is really old. When nutrition's involved they want nothing to do with it, go figure!) you give them a sheet of nori instead! Great idea!

A little bit expensive, don't you think. Wow!

where do you see a price?

When you clip on your "this tip" link a page opens up, then click on the picture and it goes to Amazon.
10-4.9oz bags for $148.35
That would make a bag costing $14.83. A little steep if you ask me.

When I was a kid I enjoyed eating small pieces of paper or cardboard. Don't know why I did it, but I did.

My Mom says you can buy it at Giant for 2 or 3 dollars. She says even her raw kind, which is always going to be more expensive, is 50 sheets for $10.00.

Problem solved, the $148.00 is for 10-4.9 oz bags. So each bag individually costs $14.84 with each bag containing 50 sheets of Nori. So each sheet would cost 30 cents. With your picky eaters, I would never chance buying that much of anything lol. BTW, I was wrong on how much the raw nori is, it costs $24.00 at Alissa Cohen for my 50 sheets of raw nori and I only got 4.4 oz. But like I said earlier, raw nori is more expensive than regular nori.

That's what I said a little expensive for me and if the kids don't like it, you're stuck with it, unless your mom takes it off your hands.

So, why don't you try your mom's first to see if the kids like it and then you can decide if you want to buy more.
