Recently I've begun to differentiate between the two Pop-Pops by explaining which grandmother they live with and sometimes using last names. Justin is still fascinated with doggies, and apparently that's what sticks in his memory about his paternal grandparents. The other night Justin started talking about Pop-Pop Cody.
For the record-he's not calling you a dog, Pop-Pop, he's merely associating you with the doggies. : )
I have such adorable, creative,& stubborn children....share the frustration, the cuteness, the highly imaginative ramblings and the gritty reality of our day to day life, well...not all of it. I am,afterall, hoping to retain people's good opinion. : ) PS. Warning! If grammar and spelling errors bother you.....I expect most of this to be stream of conscience type writing-and my spelling could be described as creative, or occasionally hopeful.

WE used to do the same thing when our boys were young too. Nanny and Pop-pop Jarrell had a doggie named Cescar, he was a Cocker Spaniel. My mom had a doggie named Daisey Mae, she was a mixed chawawa and toy terrier. My grandparent's were always called Nana and Pappap.
