Tom finally planted the "Carnivorous Creations" plant that he got for the kids (but also for us because it's supposed to eat pesky bugs!) I made the kids wait to do it with him, since he got it for them. They've been waiting and waiting! Some will grow within 3-6 weeks, and others not for a year!

That's the face Jacob makes to yell at me (like when I won't let him eat nails or summersault down the steps or something).

Justin took a nap for a couple hours after he accidentally burned the upper inside of his arm on the brownie pan. He tried to reach past it for something on the table and he just curled up in a ball on the couch, telling me, "Mommy, it hurts too much!"

omg jacob looks like a big boy in that pic! time flies!
Isn't it nice to have a relaxing holiday. We just relaxed too.
Lynnay's little boy, Nathan, turned the control knobs on the refrigerator and freezer, so when she went to get something out she saw that it wasn't cold or frozen, and was so upset, because her hubby, Tom, just went grocery shopping the day before. He bought all this meat and she didn't know if it was frozen and then thawed out. They figured it out that the meat never got frozen, but there were 2 roasts that were frozen and thawed out. She brought down 1 for her mother and 1 for Chuck and me, so that was our dinner, instead of burgers and hot dogs.
But very relaxing.
