Sparkly, Pink, ultra girly princess shoes!

Grammy was bothered by all the high heeled shoes we'd been given for Leanna. That was all she had to wear. She needs some regular shoes on those feet! I agreed, but finances were arguing against it. So Grammy took it upon herself to provide some flat shoes for variation!

She was inspired to mop the floor (I'm not complaining!) Check out the dress too: it is a handmedown from one of Nanny Sue's friends I think. She wore that out tonight. It looks like an ice-skating dress to me. But as the lady at Sears pointed out, it also looks like a fairy dress. When she twirls it spins out very prettily! It's fun to wear fancy dresses out n' about for no reason sometimes.

A second pair of shoes, but they may need to be traded because they feel funny on only ONE of her feet. They are also pink. I have to say, I wasn't really into the whole pink, sparkly, girly thing until after I had Leanna. It really is fun to have a girl to dress up.

Cute Justin

Justin just asked me if I would be compressed if his new shoes could fly. I told him, yes, I would be impressed if his shoes could fly (though I can foresee situations where I would be compressed by his flying shoes as well!)

The shoes are John Cena (wrestler, not sure of the spelling on that one), which impressed Tom way more than Justin. Justin was just impressed because Tom was impressed, LOL.

Source of frustration

Almost every day Leanna and I struggle over getting her shoes on. She dwaddles and puts it off as long as she can. Now that she's wearing sandles it's much easier-we don't have to worry about positioning her socks in just the right way. But still! The first time she tried these new shoes from Nanny Sue on she complained that they were too tight. If you look at the picture you can clearly see, if anything they are too big, not too small!! She wore them today with no complaints. Sometimes I think her mission in life is just to drive me crazy!!

Shoe love

We got Justin new sneakers on Monday also. I figured it was (-WAS-) getting too hot out for him to wear his boots much longer, and they'd look silly with his easter suit. I know, sneakers aren't much better, but we can't afford to buy him a good pair of shoes also. So even though you might think he'll look silly, HE thinks he looks fabulous! He LOVES those new shoes! They are cool-they have Thomas the Train and they light up. He's been asking me to put them on every day when he gets up, even though Leanna's been off from school since Wednesday. He cries when they have to come off so he can put his pjs on!
