A few pictures to catch up blogging......

A girl and her dog-Leanna sleeps with Curly every night

Oatmeal raisin cookies that were awesome!!  And the whole house smelled so nice!

The boys-this includes Tom-found and tried to keep a salamander.  It didn't last very long.
Just a few shots from the past months.  I can't take many pictures because all our digital batteries are shot. I charge them overnight and they only last a few minutes!  Very dissapointing.  And life's still crazy in general, so I haven't been blogging as much.

Curly really loves the kids and I"m glad. It is nice to share your life with an animal.

Does he still use the crate, or can you trust him alone when your gone?

The only time he's used the crate was when we went out, and that was only to prevent accidents. He doesn't destroy stuff or anything. I doubt there's much point to it though since he occasionally goes even with a house full of people and with no warning whatsoever. I forget who, but someone told me that is a common problem with very small dogs? ? I know nothing about dogs.

Not always. I think he is still young. Patches hasn't gone in the house in over a year now, she is finally growing out of it. It takes time. They are just like little kids when potty or house breaking, same thing in my eyes.

Every few hours someone needs to take him outside so he gets used to the routine. Then it will be like an old hat to him. I am finally happy that it hit Patches. Now she will come to me and keep looking at me and then I have to ask if she has to go potty and then she gets all happy that I figured out what she wants. It takes time, so be patient with him. Chuck still doesn't know what they want if the have to go out. I have the doggie door closed up for the winter so this is nice to get her used to coming to us (or me), when she wants to go potty.

I know funds our scarce, but please make sure you get him a rabies shot. That is so important. You can get them at Petco or at a low cost clinic they run around town. Also, get him a dog license at Sandy Kings. The dog warden goes around and checks on animals in the neighborhood. He was at my house and I had to run to get my dogs their licenses or I was to be find $300.00. He isn't a nice man. He handles all of Northampton County. He drives a Big gray pickup truck with a cap on the back and he is up in age. Just a warning!
