I couldn't resist



(I can relate to most of this. No one's ever asked if I know what causes it, although people have told Tom to get a new hobby. I've never been asked if it's a daycare or if I'm Catholic, and I get a modified question about twins-if Justin and Timothy are twins)

I like that! Yes, it is amazing how couples handle large size families, but I can see how you both handle it first hand......and it is with gusto!

you can certainly disagree with me b/c you are the one who gets the comments but maybe it'll be like peanut allergies...since large families are getting a lot of press lately, it will become less of a big deal for people to see one in public (or in food allergy cases, less of a big deal when someone in their child's class has one)...just hoping!

That was so clever and loved the way they ended the song lol. I only counted 6 children though, probably the other is a baby and was sleeping? lol @ the little girl in front of the mother, she was a little restless hehe. Long song for her.

I don't think it has to do with the current fascination with large tv families. People just blurt things ou. I think because they're amazed that in an age with birth control readily available that anyone would still have more than a couple children. If it had something to do with that fad I doubt it would be blurted the same way. Hard to eplain what I mean.
I know I post a lot on here about large families, but it truly isn't something htat constantly occupies my thoughts. I run across a lot on the subject on the web and can't resist posting. Sometimes for my own reference, sometimes to help change the way a few people who read my blog might think about it. Or maybe one day my kids might read it. The vast majority of the comments I receive are not positive, but not intentionally negative either. Only a few individuals have been either completely accepting or purposely rude and disgusted. I don't think having a big family is a trend that will be spreading! I also don't think our family is big enough to qualify for the large family facination group! But I appreciate the support!
