Of course hospitals are full of germs. Did you ever see the movie they made in the 70s about that? I think it's Burt Reynolds who goes into the hospital to get a mole removed and it becomes infected--he ends up dying. And that happens more often than you realize. You think hospitals are safe but.......
Remember when Mimi was in the hospital the last time and she bled....they cleaned it up but you could still see blood......
what is unfortunate is the strain the hospitals are under b/c of budget and insurance. the employees have to do their best with what they have and it is not easy. when jonathan was in overnight i remember thinking, watch, he'll get some kind of weird bacteria in here from the toys they have on the kids floor YUCK! it was impossible to keep track of them all and wash them. not to mention the movies, they didnt wash those!
Not all hospitals have financial problems--remember LVH had a surplus of millions. And how much is spent advertising instead of adding more help?
