Posting earlier stuff-ornaments

Because I'm still exhausted and don't feel like cleaning the mess yet again-only to have it reappear in an hour or two-I'm posting today. These are a few pictures from the night we decorated our tree. I would like that to become a family traddition eventually as well......as we hang the ornaments we remember and talk about where they came from and in some cases, why they were added. Justin's holding up the ornament for his first christmas and Timothy is pictured with the ornament that shows him at two weeks old (Probably my favorite ornament ever).

I would love to come up and organize one room at a time for you, but I don't want to step on your toes. I know you can't do it all, but if you need me to start cleaning and getting rid of things that you REALLY don't need, I can do that. I can bring BIG trash bags and we can go through things together as a school project with Leanna, Justin's Timothy and of course we can get Jacob involved as a BIG project.

Let me know, I'm willing, if you are willing to part with things you don't need or haven't used in ages.

I think that's something that I would have to start myself. Maybe it's just me, but I find it exhausting to have to explain to someone else why I want to keep something or what we use it for, it takes a lot of my energy away from the cleaning itself. We aren't really doing school this week, but we still have appointments to keep(Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Friday nights for just me!)so scheduling is tricky too. I'm still hoping to do some extra cleaning this week though. Actually it'd be most helpful if you just came over and played with the kids and kept them out of my hair for a bit so I could get done some of the stuff I need to do. But as I said, I need to sort of unbury us from the Christmas mess before we could even begin to take on sorting and organizing! Please don't see this as a rejection of your offer for help, just a request for a raincheck. Thank you!

Thanks again for coming on Christmas day, the kids were thrilled to see you! You don't even know what a big deal it was to them to spend time with you and Pop-Pop at Q-Mart! Thanks for being understanding about the switch from our house to my parents' on Christmas, it really was much more pleasant that way! (and she could offer you disgusting Pumpkin Pie! Yuck!)

I loved the pumpkin pie. If the molasses pie wasn't so strong it would have been really good, because I like it moist like that.

No problem on the switch.
