I let Jacob paint a few cookies for himself
At first it looked like a mermaid, then I realized it's an airplane, with another cookie (or at least a piece of dough) attached to the tip. Kind of looks like an exploding airplane!

Laura made the icing, I think just regular flavor. The recipie was from a Strawberry Shortcake cookbook.
its nice that you make a point to make cookies every year...your kids will remember it =)
I hope so, I've been making a point in recent years to establish as many tradditions for them as I can. I don't remember exactly when we started this one, maybe when I was a teenager. (not that we thought of it as a traddition at the time).
