Well now I'm sad!
Doomed by Obama. Not that I get a chance to watch it often, but I would be sad to see Jon Stewart's Daily Show Go. : (

I have such adorable, creative,& stubborn children....share the frustration, the cuteness, the highly imaginative ramblings and the gritty reality of our day to day life, well...not all of it. I am,afterall, hoping to retain people's good opinion. : ) PS. Warning! If grammar and spelling errors bother you.....I expect most of this to be stream of conscience type writing-and my spelling could be described as creative, or occasionally hopeful.

This is Claire, and the Daily Show was around before W. bush, and it'll live without him again. It probably won't be so politically oriented, but it'll definitely still be around.
"Why? First of all, in one eventful day, the prototypical Daily Show viewer has been transformed: Once disaffected and angry at Washington's power structure, he's now delighted and hopeful about the new president and all that he symbolizes. And if you're an Obama fan — eager to give Barack the benefit of the doubt, and proud and excited about the change you've helped bring the nation — do you really want Jon Stewart sitting on the sidelines, taking potshots at your hero?"
That was a quote from your link Steph. I have heard that his cabinet members & security advisors are the same ppl who have been running this country all along including President Clinton, & Breznesky (I KNOW I am messing up that spelling) and if that turns out to be true then where oh where will this big change come from? We are turning more & more into a facist regime and less & less than what our forefathers had in mind when they started this country. I think by the end of Obama's term there are going to be a lot of red faces on the young ppl who voted for him expecting changes. Provided he is not assasinated.
I found this blog about Nadar running for president and I found it interesting. He brings up so many good points. Check it out:
