Open house

We went to the open house last night-all 6 of us! The teacher really didn't have much new to say. Leanna did give us a tour of the classroom. Basically Leanna's doing fine in reading and math, she just needs to work on her handwritting and not rushing through it. She has a tendancy to rush which makes her work sloppy. The teacher said she doesn't have any behavior problems with her. She gets in trouble for occasional talking (to other kids) and there was one mark for losing a crayon. She's generally 2 points ahead of the goal for how much "moolah" she's supposed to earn for the week. The school operates on a system of money. They get money for doing their homework or returning a signed form, etc. They lose money for misbehavior or losing supplies (to teach responsibility).
