Counting animals, pipes, badges, and Playmobil

Counting animals are fun to play with and fun to play numbers or sorting with too.  We got ours at Becker's.
While his brothers counted, Jacob was busy with pipes.  He's been sort of obsessed lately with pipes and water, and where the water goes when you flush a toilet.

Leanna's badges earned at Girl Scouts.  I'm not entirely sure how she got the cookie one though, since she wasn't in this troop last year and cookie sales for this year start tomorrow.  I have to ask about that one.

Justin and Timothy playing with playmobil people.  We've had a lot of Narnia play around here lately, in addition to when they play "Tom and Jay" or baby cat, and other games they've invented.  They played with some moon sand they got for Christmas and it feels really neat.  They made scultptures but it's also really fun to just squish between your fingers!  Great for stress relief.

Just Cute

Justin and Timothy were just fighting over what to play. Justin was upset because he said it was his turn to pick what they would play. Timothy wanted to play doggie and Justin wanted to play Shark Boy and Lava Girl. Timothy, understandably, was not as interested in that since with Leanna at school, he would have to play Lava Girl.

Imaginations running wild

Yesterday Justin told me for the second time that he saw WordGirl flying around our house. (but then a few minutes later he finally admitted to me that he was only pretending, "She's not really in our house!" he reassured me.)

Some of the older three's favorite games to play right now include:
*camping--they lay pillows and blankets and sometimes couch cushions on the floor, often around a light and go to sleep and wake up.
*The Slippery Slimey--Someone, always Timthy, I think, is the Slippery Slimey and the others run screaming from it. The slippery slimey chases them, laughing and making scary noises and faces all the while.
*Mommy cat/baby cat--Sometimes this transforms into another animal but it's always a mother/baby combo. Seals, sea creatures, dinosaurs, dolphins, birds
*Husband/wife--this game usually combines with the previous one.
