I have such adorable, creative,& stubborn children....share the frustration, the cuteness, the highly imaginative ramblings and the gritty reality of our day to day life, well...not all of it. I am,afterall, hoping to retain people's good opinion. : ) PS. Warning! If grammar and spelling errors bother you.....I expect most of this to be stream of conscience type writing-and my spelling could be described as creative, or occasionally hopeful.

What does it mean to cut in butter? As, you can tell, I'm not a baker. Was never taught, so it never interested me. Same as cooking, just a basic cook, never experimented with things.
I just assume it's another way to say to add it in! LOL. I'm no great baker either. But I enjoy baking, so I do it anyway. The muffins were gone within an hour, by the way. And Leanna didn't have any (she's not a fan of muffins) It only makes 12 though, so between me, Timothy, Jacob, and Justin, that goes pretty quickly.
did you ever see a pastry cutter sue? when you cut in butter it is usually cold and when you get it cut up and incorporated into the flour mixture (i use a fork and smoosh it through the tines)it looks like crumbly dough. that's the best way i can explain! i bet there's a you tube video on it!! =)
btw, i use my pastry cutter to mash potatoes! LOL
Oh! I do that anyway when the butter's cold.
