There is so much to do In Jerry's yard. He has a huge yard with all kinds of play structures-tiny houses, a little bus(pictured above growing legs and walking away),a little machine that pops baseballs into the air for you to bat at (justin was fascinated with that one, he kept trying to catch the ball with his hands as it popped out), a sandbox, a trampoline, a boucy house, a mini merry-go-round, two swing sets, all kinds of motorized vehicles, including the two four-wheelers(atvs), rabbits to hold, supper cooked on the grill, a bonfire at night-the kids had a blast!

I love the bus picture. all the kids looked like they had so much fun. Country living is the best for kids when they are young. As they grow older, like Maree's age, they think at times it is boring and want to go to the city for entertainment. I always love going to Raubsville when my boys were young because they loved playing and walking the canal.
I don't think it's so much that Maree' wanted city entertainment-it's just difficult for her because there was no one her own age to play with. And I think she felt a little funny at first just jumping in to play-she's growing up fast and likes to think she's above playing like a kid.
It is hard to believe that Maree' is almost 12 and that she feels she is too old to play like a little girl, anymore. Girls just grow up way too fast in this day and age.
Well if you think about it, we felt the same way at 12 Sue. It's an awkward age I think.
