We got Justin new sneakers on Monday also. I figured it was (-WAS-) getting too hot out for him to wear his boots much longer, and they'd look silly with his easter suit. I know, sneakers aren't much better, but we can't afford to buy him a good pair of shoes also. So even though you might think he'll look silly, HE thinks he looks fabulous! He LOVES those new shoes! They are cool-they have Thomas the Train and they light up. He's been asking me to put them on every day when he gets up, even though Leanna's been off from school since Wednesday. He cries when they have to come off so he can put his pjs on!

jonathan is so jealous :-) he makes me go to the shoe dept. in walmart evertime we're there so he can play with those shoes!
also, its funny how a new pair of shoes can make things like getting ready to go out a little easier!
It doesn't matter if you have sneakers or shoes, as long as you know the whole meaning of Easter and what it is all about.
I wouldn't have had the nice pair of shoes if it weren't for Nanny Jarrell. She always made sure she used her Sears charge to dress the boys up for the Easter.
With times as tough as it is with most families anymore the dressing up doesn't matter as much, long as we have each other to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour and the coming of the Easter bunny.
I used to love buying those kinds of sneakers for my kids! Just wait til they get older and want the name brands that cost close to or even over $100 (which HE doesn't get, by the way...LOL). I think nice sneaks look fine with a nice outfit.
Adam's now wearing a size 14 shoe, so we're having a tough time finding him shoes...Payless, KMart, and Walmart are out of the question now!
ah to be 2 again!
